All BSEC Member States are present with their rescue teams in the areas affected by the huge-scale earthquake joining forces with the Turkish local authorities, racing against time saving lives.
As BSEC PERMIS, we thank these heroes and emphasize once again on the importance of regional cooperation, referring to the “Agreement among the Governments of the Participating States of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) on collaboration in Emergency Assistance and Emergency Response to natural and manmade Disasters”, signed in Sochi in 1998.
